Caren Field specializes in individual and couples counseling, and maintains a private practice in Traverse City, Michigan, where she lives, happily married to husband, David. She is the only Marriage and Family Therapist certified by PAX Programs, Inc. in understanding men and women, intentional dating, healing emotional wounds, and embracing being human. She is the creator of a workshop called Set Yourself Free, which focuses on freeing people from the lasting effects of emotional injuries, including any hurt, anger, shame, addictions, complaints, and limiting beliefs associated with them.
Her latest project is creating a Couples Campout retreat in which she and her husband will show how to build lasting and fulfilling partnerships. Caren's understanding of partnership, from choosing a good partner to being a good partner, from communicating respectfully and effectively, to healing and forgiving, as will as when and how to exit unhealthy relationships, is unparalleled.
In 2013, Caren authored 7 Steps on the Path to Partnership, an eBook detailing the steps needed to get people from confusion to clarity, frustration to freedom, on the path to partnership. Caren conducts private sessions in person (and over the phone) while running the on-line coaching program called 50 Days on the Path to Partnership Bootcamp for clients all over the world.
With more than 21 years of studying human behavior, coaching, and counseling, and as a graduate of Western Michigan University specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (2005), she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
